22 February 2020 (8:30 a.m.): In China, the number of people infected since the beginning of the epidemic is 76,288 (397 newly infected in the last 24 hours, 366 in Hubei Province, 314 of them in the capital Wuhan) and the number of deaths is 2,345 (109 in the last 24 hours, 106 of them in Hubei Province). A total of 11,633 serious cases have been recorded, while 18,264 persons have been discharged. In Italy, in the Lombardy and Veneto regions, 60 cases of infected persons have been recorded, including several doctors and one pregnant woman, and two persons, a man and a woman, have died as a result of the infection; the outbreak began in the town of Codogno, located south-east of Milan, and has forced isolation measures in 9 surrounding villages, where 50,000 people live.
February 15, 2020 (10:30 a.m.): The number of people infected is 66,492 and the number of deaths is 1,523, of which 1,427 occurred in Hubei Province (China). 6700 sick people have recovered. In Spain, patients confined by infection have already been discharged.
